Right, but 1cc, 100 unit insulin syringes count by 2's. Its looks like this.
l l l l I l l l l I l l l l I...ect...up to 100
10 20 30 the 10 20 30 would be under the bold marks up to 100 every 5 ticks, which means it counts in 2's. In other words in this 100 unit pin, thee are only 50 ticks.
therefore, unless im a complete idiot which is very possible.
1000mcg/2ml=1ml/500mcg. 1ml=1cc. so...1/2 a ml is 250mcg, which is the 50 mark, which is 25 ticks on the syringe. so 1/4 a ml is 125, which is 12.5 ticks on the syringe, half of that is roughly 62.5, which is around 6 ticks...figured it out, thanks for making me think...This is right? Right?
not to hijack the thread
I started hgh last week. I get 5mg of hgh per vial and I was told to mix 1.5 cc of bw. this would give me 15 ius per vial. On the slin pin it is the same numbers and ticks as posted. So is one tick 2/10ths of an iu? So at the 10 mark on the pin it would be 2 ius or 1 iu? I thought I knew what I was doing until I read this post. I thought 10 on the slin pin is = to 1 iu. Another thing, on a 3 cc syringe filled to 1.5 ccs I did not get 15 ius I got like 11 ius. Am I doing this wrong? With the hgh and the 5 mg of powder should I have gotten more than 15 ius with the 1.5 cc of liquid? If I put more bw or less would this dilute the hgh or increase it? Thanks for any reply.
i like using 1/2cc slin pins, so when i reconstitute with 1ml i have 10mcg per tick.
