I don't think so.Apparently drugs like prednisone, inhaled steroids and even some otc cold meds can elevate optic pressure.There is a drainage system in your eye with fluid.High pressure from what I undersand is when the fluid does'nt drain freely and can damage the optic nerve.kinda scary stuff cause there usually are no symptoms with glaucoma.Just a good idea to have your eyes checked and remain healthy along with every thing else.I just take drops while I'm on and a few months after

All of those steroids you mentioned (Inhaled Steroids, Prednisone, etc.) are Corticosteroids, not Anabolic Steroids.

Completely different effects on the body.

It's probably related to high blood pressure that often comes with steroid use. My Opthomologist also mentioned this. Something we should all think of when getting eyes examined.

How is that possible? Corticosteroids such as cortisone and such decrease edema and inflammation, etc... You're wrong on that point.
