When all the preparations've been done u can start torturing your body with roids...

Did u mean hyperthyroidism (when u rapidly loosing weight, have very often hear beats and your eyeballs are bulging, etc.), when the tsh blood levels are low, but anyway. Very curious, but I instead of you had my hypothyroidism to treated, when I was 17 (actually I had problems before, but didn't thought it was thyroid). I had decreased metabolism, quite bulged thyroid, sleepy and tired oftenn, oedema, fatigue and very high tsh in my blood, when t3 and t4 was normal. There was some kind of non- malignant tumour in the thyroid. It took almost half of year to normalize my life quality and tsh levels. Now I'm on 100mcg of levothyroxine (Berlin-Chemie) every morning. I've good metabolism, good strenght gains at gym, no tired moods and better life quality. Maybe in future there'd be some better medicions...but one I can say: everyone who have problems with the thyroid take their own medicine and there's no bad impact's on you if only it's used correct for your dissease. There's also no base to think, that u really have dessease- maybe just increased thyroid function what could be regulated by the time. My advice'd be to keep your tsh levels medium-good, so u have good metabolism and also not decreased muscle mass, because if thyroid functionates too fast it also can have an impact on ability to gain more muscle mass. For example my last tsh level check was 2.2- it's enough good for me (I had had also lower tsh, but that was too low).

I meaned if doc's au fait and has prescribed medicine to treat your health problems, the medicine due specially for your prob., it'll help to fight with it. If u've not graded in some medicine sphere and take something by yourself it's the game of luck.
U had overactive thyroid in your body. Everything metabolises faster- so u just can't feed your sistem, when it needs something again, as it has used all received component's and don't have new it'll use it's own so decrease in muscle mass is possible+ it'll earlyer or later be shut da ****ed down by itself. So yes, I'd say if doc gives u that medicine to normalize your thyroid function, the metabolism will not be so excessive and there'd be chance to muscles to get all the necessary component's for normal growth.

What man? why u takin levothyroxine: it's boosting your thyroid instead of slowing it a little bit? Carbimazol, yes it's for hyperthyroidism treatment. Hmm, if your doc prescribed...just haven't heard that hyperthyroidism patients r taking this. I've some form of hypothyroidism, so I've to take that levothyroxine.
Maybe u had enlarged thyroid gland- that the reason your doc might prescribe this.

i done done the same course about 2/3 years ago to give the tyhroid a brake for about 1 year/ 18 months, then stopped the medication to see if it would work on its own. but it went crazy again. so i just do as the doctor says, and now im back on them.
