The only difference between test-c and test-e is the half-life. For cypionate, it's 12 days and 10.5 days for enanthate. Half life is the time it takes a drug to split blood levels in half. For example, enanthate after 10.5 days will be only 125mg of the drug in your body. I wouldn't make a habit of it but your friend would be better off taking the cypionate then cutting his cycle short. On the other hand, if you were talking about test-p which only has a half life of 3 days then I would say absolutely not.

Actually, switching to prop from a long ester is not a problem at all. I have started to switch to the shorter ester (if available) towards then end of my cycle.

Yeah, your right. The only difference is the frequency of injections so you'd have to inject at least EOD. I'm so used to using prop to kick start a cycle vs running it as my main test.
