just make sure to leave the pin in for about 30 seconds after your injection. as stated before, the z tracking method works well as well.

Use the z track method for sure. Move the skin to one side stick the needle in aspirte slowly inject wait a moment and remove. if done properly the hole you just made in you skin will no longer be over the injection site, this should prevent leakage. also think about using a 1.5" needle if your not already.

thats why the term "think" is in there but you are right 1" for delt should be fine. for larger muscle groups 1.5" pins
