    I deal with amputations and I know that if someone smokes they have less than 50% chance of having a limb reattached when compared to someone that does not smoke. Therefore, when considering lifting, eating and healing to grow, I would imagine smoking hinders the healing process as expeditiously as when not smoking. I think it would be safe to deduce that smoking would hinder your growth; at least to some extent.

    I work in orthopedic implants, you should see what it does to the rate of someone's spine fusing.
