I would like to know how Bush gets the all of the blame for everything. It''s not like he did all of this by himself. Congress supported the war. When things haven't gone as well as hoped for the Dems jumped back and started to oppose the war. Years from now I think that everyone will realize that this war is for the good. It benefits Iraq and it benefits the US. We need Iraq, especially if we are gonna have to fight Iran.

4,000 dead American soliders, 20,000 wounded and perminantely disfigured soldiers, and approximately 1,000,000 dead innocent Iraqi civilians might disagree with you. Also, a 9 trillion dollar national debt that is going to be paid for by you, me, and our grandchildren, they might tend to disagree as well. There has never been a more pointless war in all of history. Iraq never posed a national security threat to this country, and Iraq never supported terrorists who targeted this country, in any way shape or form. There is absolutely 0 evidence that would suggest otherwise, Z E R O. There is however a mountain of evidence to suggest that the Executive branch, and many within the Bush administration (Not just Bush himself) outright lied to the American people about Iraq. There is even less of a reason to fight Iran. This war mongering attitude absolutely sickens me. The fact that some of you neo-cons think that you have the RIGHT to invade sovereign nations just because you happen to disagree with them, or because they think their God has a bigger COCK than yours. Yes, this war has been great, the massive inflation caused by the Fed printing money out of thin air, further degrading the savings and purchasing power of 350 million American citizens, has really been a blessing in disguise hasn't it? This idea of pre-emptive warfare is absurd, the idea that we go attacking people before they pose a threat to us because we think they "MIGHT" pose a threat to us, is RIDICULOUS, ABSURD, INSANE! Do you know who the first pioneer of pre-emptive warfare was? HITLER!

Lets put this pre-emptive warfare bit into a little bit of logical perspective. As far as our own laws which govern our citizens, you are only justified in killing another person in self-defense if that person poses an immediate danger to your life. That means, that if you shoot someone on the street because you thought they MIGHT...POSSIBLY...MAYBE...OR PERHAPS...pose a danger to your life... YOU GOTO JAIL FOR FU*KING LIFE!, its murder. The same logic applies when attacking a SOVEREIGN NATION. They never posed a serious threat to the lives of ANY American citizens, and therefore we were completely unjustified in attacking them. Do you forget all the Democrats that voted for the war because, like every other country, they thought Saddam had WMD's, he pulled a Major bluff. I do have issues on how the war was prosecuted, i think Rumsfeld blew it. This Soverign Nation, at the time, was thought to pose a significant threat to our well being. I strongly disagree w/ Bush's fiscal debacle, but if you think Obama and Dem controlled House and Senate are not gonna drive the deficit sky high(er), then you're incredibly naive. NO CANDIDATE is talking about cutting spending and shrinking the federal beaurocracy, I will almost guarantee you Obama will raise taxes alot on the folks that generate income, hire people, etc.. which will in turn DECREASE revenue (it's been shown how lower taxes increases net revenue) and the wild spending spree the Dems will go on, we will be in much direr financial straits.

Like i've said, i don't like any of the bums, but the thought of one party controlling the legis. and exec. branch is scary, part of the problem we have now (deficit wise) is from one party having control (Pubs)

The arguement of invading Iraq now or not is pointless. If you choose, not choose to be blind after Bush's close associates either resigned or jumped ship after the Iraq debacle, that is your (everyone's) choice.

It was simply poor planning from fairy tales by people who did not like Saddam in power. I have no problem agreeing that Saddam was a bad man, yes he was. There are many a-holes like Saddam and his sons running around screwing up peoples lives and I see 0 Republicans trying to help those people. Heck, democrates included but I suppose the Republicans did have a thrashing on their hands by insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Its taken us this long to find out a real strategy to fight the war in Iraq or the war of terrorism abroad. I say thank you to General Patreas for sorting out this mess and to all those serving in the military.

I think the godfather sumed it up, who really cares what Abraham Lincoln did in the 1860s. His policies affect us now but are irrelevent since its over a century later. (I mean things such as abolishing slavery, Civil War still have affects.)
