Just to clarify. I never classified him even remotely close to a "hero". If anything it was much closer to the latter. I just find it laughable that some people seemingly idolized him a short time ago and now are ready to crucify him.

Having said that I think many people that have been here >2-3 years, albeit not all, share similar views.

I never publicly bashed him, no. Actually some articles and some of his points he was correct. It was his whole persona and attitude. He was the reason for certain good members leaving or perhaps even being banned back a few years ago. I always found it awkward that he always had this aura of negativity and hostile attitude towards anyone who disagreed with him. Of all the members here, he was unique and many of his arguments questionable.
