    not entirely sure, but basically it sucks air in and as the blades move it keeps compressing it until it is moving FAST and then it spins a generator to crerate electricity...nuclear is differnt but i am not sure how nuclear works to be honest...

    no at first they inject regular gas to start it like a starter in your car, once it gets moving it sucks air in from the outside and the air moveds the blades and also goes through compression rings and keeps moving forward...the actuall engine doesnt even touch the generator side, it is all done via air...as the air keeps moving blades, it then starts moving blades on the generator side spinning it super fast and creating an electrical current and voltage...in a nutshell....haha....but it actaully uses very little to no gas to start and once it gets going it just sucks air in with no help at all....its very effecient...plus the heat generated heats water to make steam to turn a steam generator and make more electricty and also heat the entire facility...
