    General training question..

I've notice the guys w/ the best physique's in my gym seem to lift very heavy (2-3 reps) then the next time they train the same bodypart they train it very light. My question is what do you think of this and is there links to any training program like this?

    thx in advance

I feel that this is one of the better training regimes that I do... I don't have any links... My work-outs are the same... just one week is heavy, one week is super high reps-light.

seams like they are maxing out to me. Then when they switch to lower weight. It is just there ideal weight for that exercise.
This is pretty much how it should be done.
heavy lifting at fewer reps helps gain strength and size.

That is a good routine to follow. I know of a few guys who work out this way and have really gotten great results from it. It doesn't work that great for me so I just stick to heavy all the time.

Everyone is different and just because it works for one person doesn't mean it will work for you.
