its when i do either wide grip or strait bar ones. only hurts while im doing them, not any other lift
YA bro dips hit that part of the chest.
yeah i get that all the time almost every set ...aches pretty bad when when i finish the set
I love dips just started hitting them and I've gotten extreme tricep/chest growth out of it....
well maybe i will not go so heavy with the weight belt and keep at them. maybe i will work through it
you are stretching cartilage. no ex works "part" of a muscle.
Dips are a classic!!!
i stopped dipping when i fvcked up and heard a loud pop in my chest.
I had a 70lbs weight between my legs.
hmmm..i did 70lbs between my legs the other day...worries me now!!!
they are on my list to do tomorrow. we will see how they go. only gonna use 20lbs and more reps.
weighted dips are the shizz.
ok well how about an actual answer as opposed to "dips are the shizz"....if you're experiencing pain then something is probably not right and you've pulled or stressed some muscle. Although i'm not a dr. or an expert, i would recommend stopping the lift for awhile or at least start by lowering the weight...plenty of other good exercises for tri's. If you think its something serious, nothing wrong with seeing a dr about it
ok well how about lighten up captain fantastik
be careful not to go to low with the dips... They can cause many injuries! and whatever ya do, don't go TO HEAVY!!!!
yeah i agree about not going TOO heavy...
took me about 2 months to let my elbow heal up after a few weeks of very heavy dips (sets of 4-5) did a number on it
