This sounds 100% to me like your not working out properly. Start trianing the 3 power lifts, 5-8reps, 8sets each. You need to be using heavy weight, if you hit fail get another rep out, then start doing as much ROM as you can, then get a training partner to help you crank out more reps. If you arent sore the next day you arent working hard enough. If you have energy enough to continue aftter 45m you are not working hard enough. If this doesnt work try including some isolation exercises aswell, and TRAIN HARD!! TO gain muscle you need to push the body into unknown territory, shock the sytem. You will grow like a weed.
