If you're going with two off days, I would switch the tuesday off day to monday in order to let your tris get a rest after shoulder day before blasting them again the next day. Wow that was a run-on sentence lol. Personally, I just dont like doing arms the day after shoulders but whatever works for ya bro.
yea u have 4 consecutive days of upper body and rest days on both sides of legs?
now u dont want to do back then legs of course.
if you could tell me which would be a good routine since i have 4 upper body days.
You're fine just move your tuesday rest day to monday
I dont like it personally. You should finish off your arms on your major muscle group days. Something like this maybe:
1. chest/tri
2. shoulders/abs
3. back/bi's
4. legs/abs
1-4 and repeat. You give your body parts plenty of rest but some prefer just once a week. I personally think 4 days is plenty. Your choice, your body. Put days off where you see fit. I would recommend doing cardio on off days if feasible.
^ That is how i would Split it.
thanks for all the input guys
with a 4 day split i like:
M: chest, tris
T: Legs
wff
Th:Shoulder
F:back, bis
S: off
Su: another off day, maybe some cardio or start rotation all over again if recovered
