for me, i just find i have good days and bad days. just depends on whats going on and how i feel. some days i feel like just going up on bench more and more and other times i find it hard to get through normal sets..

No kidding, that how it is with me too. I know everyone is different, but I wonder what is the best amount of rest, or what it takes to have more of those good days. I hate those days when its so hard just to get through the normal sets. Then there are those days that I just do not want to go at all and I have to force myself, but I'm so glad I went after its over.
