Sounds to me like he's clueless bro...Then again what are his goals??
He's like a teenager at the gym, all he does is upper body and has chicken legs. He's 270lbs so his upper body is massive. He's all about benching as much as possible, and he says he likes to run the var for that long so it keeps his strength up in between cycles. I just found the long term use of the var a little odd. I've never read into using var for that long so I'm pretty clueless (and curious) about it.
