Why does it take 4-5 weeks for testosterones full effect?

im guessing that the higher levels of test up-regulate the receptors as well as the genes coding for the transcription machinery necessary for making the tRNA that protein is synthesized from. Long story short the machinery builds up after a few weeks i believe

* mRNA, sorry for the typo. Although tRNA production machinery is also up-regulated as well since a higher rate of protein synthesis requires more free tRNA available to bring in new amino acids to the new elongating polypeptides. Glad to see we got some other science backgrounds around here bro
