Dude, you gotta know how to set it up so the fat ones and crazy chicks won't apply. I've had TONS of hot chicks off Craigslist. I usually respond to their ad. I don't remember ever posting an ad myself. I just look at there's and respond appropriately.

This is the case with myspace too. I was "friends" with a few girls, and before long they was wanting to do the nasty while their significant other watched, or maybe joined in. Not my style.
