haven't competed. and i never really considered it. competition nutrition is almost completely a diff. animal. but i am contemplating getting on stage in 2010. i am only 5'9" and 205 at 7-8%bf. i'm big, but i want to compete bigger. so im looking at two bulkers at least and a little bit of cutting after, then i'll see where i am.
i enjoy reading about performance nutrition, so i guess i just share what i enjoy with others.
Yeah like you Ruhl I get the your legs are huge or damn there strong as an ox but I want the freaky comment, but I hate that I have high inserts with my calves.
i'm here but in and out, seeing what results i get on POF....not many...
coolio. i am not a vascular fella at all. just a lil in the forearms. the one in the biceps that everyone has, only mine only shows when i lift. and i have one in my shoulder. and one in my abs. thats it. nothing at all really. the shoulder one and my ab one are the only cool ones.
I feel you on the wanting to compete bigger. How do you feel about pulambo's competition diet, I read that you and Nark aren't big fans of that. Do you feel that it depends on the person or other factors. Hope you don't mind if I pick your brain a little bit as I plan on competing next year in several shows and what I should follow.
Ruhl, where you sittin' right now main?
Kratos, get ur ass in here u lurkin' sumbitch.

haha nice. and i love how you're a bodybuilder... 216.
good work studly. i say don't change the diet at all and incorporate cardio. if u can, you will lean out a tad. that's how i start my pct and cutting. i don't budge the diet and just train as hard and add cardio. usually down 7lbs before i get stucky. and have to stop eating pounds of steak every few hours![]()
hanging up clothes. talk about your ginormic time wasters.
Sorry nova, its funny when I try to find the exact lay out quickly it doesn't happenYou can find a lot of it on MD but the basic lay it is similar to this.
Meal 1 6 whole *****-3 eggs
Meal 2 8oz chicken with 1/2 cup raw almonds
Meal 3 50g whey with 2 tablespoons all natural peanutbutter
Meal 4 8oz salmon with 1 cup asparagus with 1 tablespoon macadamia nut oil
Meal 5 50 g whey with 2 tablespoon PB
Meal 6 6 whole eggs
And your right its low carbs and moderate fats

refreshskie (seen here).
And this is what I was thinking as well. I got a trainer who is going to be doing the Jr. USA's and he said he started listening to different people due to his placements. He said once he did this type of diet thats when he got his national card. But at the same time pretty sure Flex Lewis cuts with carbs and he won the 202 under class. SO I'm a little lost on what to do. Do you think it could be depend on the person? I'm 5'11'' at 225 around 8-10% I think. I gotta a log going on in the supplement section
i tried low carbing at the end of my prep and it made me fail and cheat.....made me too tired to train and that made me depressed too.....train the way i'm used to i mean

not impossible...but i have a suggestion for you...i really think it will work, at least with guys who've not seen your real pics yet
STOP USING HOT AVI PICS !
guys in their subconscious mind will associate you with the photo and become delusional !
just some advice....
I wouldn't call it bullshit Ruhl. Especially when Tony Freeman did this and took home two 1st place wins at Pro shows and Evan winning the nationals in 07 on this diet. Look at it as a different approach.
absolutely it depends on the person. but performance is performance. and carbs are essential. espesially at guys our size. it's absolutely necessary. now cutting with gear and a ot of it, will also effect the outcome, but i choose not to cut with gear.
i think you should give it a shot when time comes. keep fats low, but not absent and keep carbs complex at all time. ALL TIMES. cardio will help and any ancillaries will be the finishing touch.
