How so? muscle massage will move the chemical out of the local site and into a more systemic state therefore reducing pain.
I gently massage the site, stretch that muscle group (which more than likely turns into a 20 minute stretching session) then i use that muscle group for a small amount of time to warm up the muscle. Like if it's a quad/glute injection then I walk around or do a few lunges after stretching.
Switching needles does help. The sharper the needle the less trauma to the injection site.
I usually don't have problems except with winstrol being that it's a suspension. Nothing seemed to help that stuff.
gently massaging will not cause tissue damage. injecting >1ml of oil and not messaging into the muscle tissue can lead to a sterile abcess, painful but not life threatening
Switching pins will help insignificantly. The only good reason to do thiis is if you are drawing a rather thick solution and injecting with smaller gauge needle suh as a 25g+. Then you could use something like an 18g to draw so you aren't spending a half hour waiting for your syringe to fille up. The rubber stopper won't cause significant dulling of the needle.
