Funny thing is I found my girl when she was bar tending. When my friend said I found the perfect girl for you bar tending at.....I was like wtf. But I scoped her out for a few months, she didn't drink and was actually abit of a man hater when I met her, she had enough of bad boy friends and wasnt dating no one she met at the bar. I told her as you notice I don't drink and have just been coming here to check you out, that was it, I reeled her right in. Right after that she made a nice career change.

So where did you meet your girl or where do you think the good ones are??

I rarely went to clubs and bars. The summer that I bounced tough me those girls are not the kind of girls you want in your life (obviously, there can be exceptions like your girl). Now i don't go to those places at all. I'm not a night guy.
On the other hand any place is good. Quality people are found in everyday places; you're library, bookstore, grocery...

Girls are EVERYWHERE.
Honestly I don't think you'll find a "good girl" in the bookstore.

I use to hang out in the self help section at Borders and I'd always see a smoking hot girl just lounging around with a cup of coffee.

Id usually go up and ask them if they could recommend a good book. Then I'd take their book, find a random page, read a few sentences and either start some playful joking banter or I'd be weirded out completely by what they were reading and how weird they came off.
But it worked like this.
Some of the girls at a bookstore are *smart, no doubt. Highly intellectual, but they also seem to be a little 'outside the ballpark' socially.. and emotionally.

Girls at the bar I've actually met quite a few pretty cool chicks. Some a bit wild, some with drug or alcohol problems, some quite normal.
Girls at school, I seem to get a mix of those bar/book women.

So my opinion now is don't go somewhere looking for a specific type of women. The only thing that will really be different is the proxemics, or the protocol of expected behavoir in the environment.
So my advice would be in no way to limit yourself to any type of situation of environment.

3 of the last 5 girls I’ve dated were cosmetologist. They seem really nice, are normally cute as hell, but they are gossipy and catty. They work in a den of snakes so they are paranoid all the time and live drama filled lives. Stay away from the beauty salon. 1 was not that bad, but she traveled too much, she was a sales rep and was always in and out of the state or on the road.

You can meet good girls at bars. You don’t want to run into the one that is there 3 days a week. But even good girls go out with friends on occasion.

I use to pull some good numbers at the grocery store. A lot of it is just being comfortable talking to them. I’m 28 now though and I need to quit trying to pick up 18-24 year olds.

I thought of doing community services, maybe working for habitat (I’m a contractor) or helping the ISD kids. Seems like you could meet good girls that way. If you did not, all those old senior citizens would love a younger guy helping out, and most of them have grand daughters. Granny and Gramps would think you were the “nicest little boy” and be sure to tell that to the grand daughter.

school always worked the best for me back in the day, friends intorducing you to new people. the more people you know the better the odds, girls and guys that is. hell i have been hooked up on dates with girls from other girls i used to hook up with. on that another note. never leave a relationship on bad terms, you never know, your ex can end up hooking you up with someone else. sounds weird but it happens
