I don't participate in any of those sites. I don't need people knowing what I'm up to all of the time and I especially don't need clients/potential clients searching me then seeing me out at the bar or doing something not-so professional.

funny thing, I dated this girl once. She told me she had had a boyfriend for the last 4 years and just got out of the relationship. So to do a quick check on her, I went to her myspace page and checked her wall comments. Those things scroll back to when you first signed up on that site..... Anyway, saw a bunch of comments from multiple guys that she obviously dated/fvcked in that time frame. Needless to say, I just kept her around as a hookup and that sealed the deal on any potential for a relationship with her.

Moral of the story, your whole past is pretty much on there for anyone to read. People you dated, their pictures, how you talked to them, how they talked to you, time dates are given, etc.

Be careful. Using those sites can come back to bite you in the ass.
