Out here, this time of year you have a pretty good selection at the pawn shops. You can get something almost new for around $80 so thats my move. I just want to know if there are any big things i should look for or avoid?

the length of the board you need depends on how tall you are. i don't really know what sizes for what height. but if you search for it on google or something i'm sure you could find it. if you have the right size board it'll be a lot easier.

I'm at the top of the second pic, that trail is just to the right side of the tram shown in the last pic if that gives you an idea how steep it is. They get like 400 inches of show there a year...some really good glades.

I'm 6'3'' also...just tell one of the guys at the store you're experience and that you want something nice...see what they tell you. E-bay is cheaper by half if you get your ski equipment there.

not really, Long island kinda puts the kibosh on any waves hitting the beaches of CT. Rhode island gets some good surf after storms, and I've gone out to Cape cod (maybe 2.5 hrs away) to catch some waves, but I'm not very good at all at surfing. Lots of seals in the water off the cape and sharks.
