What I'm saying is that for every $ that goes to welfare for poor people, there's $ that goes to corporate welfare. It makes no sense to rag only on the welfare that goes to poor folks and to ignore the welfare that goes to big corporations.

Weep and wail and gnash teeth in the outer darkness all you want about what Liberals say they're gonna do. Right now it's the Conservatives of the Bush Administration that are pushing for these mega-bucks going to mismanaged investment companies, banks, and insurance companies. And their overpaid Republican CEO's get paid big bucks to run theiir businesses into the ground, too.

Like it or not, we were all better off financially back in the good ol' days of the Clinton administration. And, BTW, they didn't enforce the anti-steroid laws with the ruthless zeal that these GD conservative Republican steroidphobes do . . .

I love liberal logic. All dem = clinton (popular pres)
All republicans = Bush (unpopular pres)
And while were at it lets call Obama the spitting image of JFK

You're right, Joe Biden loves steroids and the people who use them.

All right, then let me re-phrase it:

Right now it's the so-called Conservatives of the Bush Administration that are pushing for these mega-bucks going to mismanaged investment companies, banks, and insurance companies.

Much better, but it's certainly not just neoconservatives pushing this through. It's heavily pushed by both sides.

I'm not a fan of Joe Biden. But, the Dems (in general) are much less aggressive when it comes to enforcing drug laws than Republicans.
