I wish we got the CFL on TV in New Hampshire. Even a cable package for a season would be nice.
I saw that it was on VS but I didn't tune in as there were many NFL games going.
They play football in Canada!?!?![]()
LOL!!!! I joke, i joke, i keeeed, i keeeeed.
I love me all kinds of football. I'll even watch Aussie rules and rugby eventhough i dont have the slightest clue whats going on.
Aussie Football is the best.
I watched it... love my CFL football. I met Henry Burris a few weeks ago after the Stamps/Ti-Cat game in Hamilton after a game, I went to a bar called the London Tap House in Hamilton, it's where a lot of Ti-Cat players and other teams go after games, and Burris was there. Super chill guy, went up to him and talked football for 5 minutes, had a drink, very approachable dude. I was rooting for him in the Cup game.
canadian football?![]()
i didnt even know the season, let alone the playoffs, were happening.
go stamps. or whoever the hell won.
After my NFL career ended, I had a chance to play for the Argonaughts (back in 01) but that field is WAYYY too big!! HAHAHAHAHA! Plus I don't know about that defense playing a yard off the ball! hahahahaha! But I have a lot of friends who have played up there and had good careers. Believe it or not Canadians are crazy about their football. I was surprised when I went up there. But in the late 90s and early 00s, playing in Canada didn't pay much. Their basic salary was $35K (Canadian), which translated (at that time) to $24K American. Compare that to $176K league minimum (full time roster player) and $70k for a ractice squad player in the NFL.
