imo, just eat whole food. i've tried both ways. shakes do not help in anyway. i figured out long ago not to waste my money on that crap and to just spend the money on a proper daily diet. maybe you could argue it if you are competing body builder. just us regular schmos (sp?) arent going to see an advantage. eat 6 square meals a day and a lean protein source at every meal. none of this snacking crap i see a lot of people like to do. just eat and do it right.all, imo of course
