The HRT I am on is considered a cosmetic thing by my insurance, but I am 43. I assume your therapy is considered medically necessary. Do you know it will disqualify you from service? even if it does can you hide the use of it for 4 or 6 years, paying for it yourself? It is considered Medically necessary and my insurance pays for it. Once I get through bootcamp I can declare it, I just don't want them to DQ me before I leave.

So what do you guys think? I'm still kinda undecided what im gonna do. I'm thinking either I just don't take it. Or I bring a copy of the Script with me and just give it too them When I get there.

Why don't you just take the gel with you?

And if they ask say that you have low hormonal levels and if you taken it as a kid.

If they kick you out for that then thats just wrong, its one thing to be taking enhancers its another to be able to be on the same playing field as everyone else. If you stop taking it, you are at a disadvantage because of your body's hormonal function.

This Is very true However When I went through My medical Screening I didn't indicate that I was taking anything for fear of getting dropped from the program and not being able to enlist. Now Its come that I'm leaving on monday and Im trying to decide if I should Bring the medication with me. Or if I can just suck it up and go 2 months w/o taking any test at all...

I'm Just really curious How badly I would be affected By it, aside from feeling Like shit, Low sex drive doesn't matter, The biggest Concern I have is Lack of energy But I mean, I didn't Start Hrt Til I was 19 so, I went the first 19 years of My life without It whats the difference if I don't have it for 2 months, I plan I injecting the Cyp depo dosed at 4 weeks, So does that mean 4 weeks from when I inject I will have absolutely no test in my body?
