"A commisioned study recently completed by Hartcourt and James at Johns Hopkins University has come out with evidence that approximately 35-40% of male users under the age of 40 of the penile vasodialation drug Alprostadil (under the brand name Caverject) are men that frequently use the androgenic hormonal steroid Nandrolone. Nandrolone is a potent androgen used to prevent wasting in subjects who suffer from a number of illnesses, including HIV. While it has few undesirable side effects at low doses, Nandralone does effect the nerve cells responsible for erectile function and often results in complete inability to perform sexually. It is proposed that one of the primary contributing factors of the high correlation of use is the apparent widespread abuse of Nandrolone as a recreational drug in body building, where it is also known as Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate - . The second part of the study will be completed in October and is focused on the expected high correlation of use between male users of Nandralone supplementation and users of the por penile vasodialation drug Sildenafil Citrate (brand name Viagra)."
