What he is trying to tell you is that you can bulk or cut with any compound. What determines a cutting cycle from a bulking cycle is your diet and amount of cardio.
Also, be careful with the cardio you are doing now. Anything more than 45-60 minutes at a time is going to be countrrproductive where your body stops burning fat and starts burning your muscles for fuel. That's why you never see any bulky marathon runners, they all have stringy thin muscles cause their bodies eat them for fuel. IMHO
