i shaved mine for wrestling because rubbing on the mat hurt about 5x more when hair was being ripped out too.

i'm not hairy at all; i shaved my face once in the last 4 months and it was hard to tell there was anything there at all.

armpits sometimes, i find using a girl razor works better.
