if so try 3mg of melatonin 20-30minutes before bed and have some tea(sleepy tea is good) that has chamomile in it with some milk in it(warm milk causes the brain to release tryptophan which aids in going to sleep)

phew! just back from gym.
they pretty cheap on this side of the pond. I like prescription sleep aids like alprazolam or zolpidem mainly. they fairly short-acting and effective, not much "hangover".
Particularly if you only need help getting to sleep on occasion.

also, what they call "sleep hygiene" is important:
dont eat within two hours of going to bed.
dont watch television within an hour of going to bed.
dont watch TV or read in bed (unless reading makes you sleep)
avoid caffeine later in the day. avoid daytime naps.

they didn't used to be like this.....but now that they have money problems and ****ed me over for financial aid last year and are paying for it they've become resentful i guess. Mom was in charge of FAFSA before this year and she didn't do it until like april last year....that coupled with them not doing their taxes until october is why i'm so ****ed on financial aid this year
