I sit here in a Pharm Co. that makes the shit, looks like an hospital in parts, have Dr in every other office, pin charts on the walls (I did apologise regarding the length of 25G's) and been injecting myself for the best part of 20 years. If I have to cross the T's and dot the i's to explain every detail to kids like you then so be it.
When you grow up think twice about making coments like above and just simply ask "do you mean.....?"
See above the reason why small dia. pins are not recommended for oils and certain syringe sizes.
dont get all butt hurt. its your own fault, for making such a ridiculous statement in the first place. wether it was what you intended, or not. you still said it. so deal with it.

and as for blowing the tip off a syringe. you would have to have, the thumb strength of a gorilla, to accomplish this on a delt shot. But even if you had this strength. why would you be pushing that hard on a plunger in the first place?? a shot is supposed to be done slow. its not meant to be part of your workout regime.

it is not important that you work for a Pharm co. you are clearly speaking about beauracratic nonsense you heard at the office. instead of with real world experience. im willing to bet, 85% of the people on this board have shot with 25g pins. and never had a problem with them.

Yeah mate, I made the comment hoping that one could read between the lines. Like I said, I checked the chart and only found max length of 1", not recommended (medically) for glute injection - FACT
Blow the pin off needle? Seen it, done it, heard from colleagues, watched it happen to my wife in hospital and guess what? Not a gorilla in sight- FACT
Beauracracy? 17 years since my first injection, number of cycles cannot count. I've been there done it and bought the T-shirt but yes, now I listen to the professionals as I also take the information I hear on this board. Working at a Pharm Co. gives me that little bit more access to information that 99% of people on this board would not be able to get -FACT
I bet there are people that have shot with insulin needles on here without a problem, the bottom line is, using the right tools for the right job.
I could put a wheel off an horse cart on a formula 1 racing car and it will still work but that doesn't mean it is right.
Please feel free to carry on, I can be pedantic too.

you can not use a slin needle to shoot steroids. it wont kill you but the needle wont go deep enough into the muscle and you'll get a knot were you shoot and the oil wont break down as quickly meaning your results will be horrible
