Since this is scripted pricing hopefully I'll stay out of trouble.

I was paying $226 per 5ml vial at Costco. I was taking 1iu 5/2 (which would last me approximately 3 weeks) for a few months.
I started getting my scripts filled 2- 5ml vials at a time and my cost has gone
down to $186 per 5ml vial. I don't know why it went down.
I'm now taking 2iu 5/2 so 2-5ml vials last me about 3 weeks and run $372.

That doesn't include pins that until I got laid off 2 weeks ago were $10 (copay)

I didn't want to hassle the insurance for HGH so went the cash route at Costco. I've heard of some people getting their insurance (the same carrier I had) to pay for HGH. My doc and a local pharmacy basically refused to submit it to insurance.

thanks, that helped out. Still a little expensive, but better than most. 15 per i/u avg. yikes. what dosage would be normal for a 150lb woman? The Dr. has her at 1.2ml. ed. I don't know too much about the conversion form iu to ml., but that seems real high. The somatropin is dosed at 10mg/1.5ml.

You need to get a lawyer, a good medical lawyer, and go after the insurance company. Show that it's not experimental and they should pay for it. All insurance companies are like this. You have to get tough with them. You will probably need to pay out of pocket in the beginning but when you win the case they will have to reimburse you.

I don't know what your mom has but use pubmed and get every peer reviewed articule ever published about her condition and show that using HGH is effective and not experimental. You will only get the abstracts for free from pubmed. So pay for the complete articles that use HGH. This is stuff they can't dismiss.
