On Halloween I went to this house that is suppose to be haunted and it was even on the show Ghost Hunters on the Scifi channel so I thought it would be Legit... Anyways it was like 25$ a person and they said that something will happen while we are in there. It was a 2 hour walk thru in the house and at one point the tour guide made us guys leave and told the girls to stay in the room to talk to the ghost because she hates guys and he wont come out if we are in there lol.So im in this other roomand I hear the ladies yelling Mary Mary Mary come out, LMAO. Anyways nothing happened, wasted my money and was pissed off. LIke 80 years ago in the house murders hapened, women were raped and all this sh1t went on in the house and they said thats why is was haunted but I found out there are full of it!

About a year or so before my grandfather passed. He started hearing a voice out of thin air in his bedroom. He thought it was his mind playing tricks on him, due to old age, and he would always call to my grandma to check him on it. IT was always at some point between the witching hours (12-3 at night). My grandma did get to experience it, and confirm that neither one of them were being tricked by their mind. It happened I am guessing a dozen or so times in that year.


My grandfather eventually passed. He had allzeihmers which got ugly in the end. He was far gone in his last days, not really coherent. BUt he was in the hospital for I cant remember if it was liver or kidney problems. He had to have a surgery I think, which went fine. They at that point did not know how much longer he would be with us, but their was no reason to believe he would pass the next day. But, my mom and I drove down to see him in the hospital that day. When we left, me and my grandfather made eye contact. It was a real special moment for me. It may sound crazy, but I felt like he was able to step outside of alzeimers for a moment, and telepathically say his goodbye. We both had a mutual connection, and it was worth a million words. Well, I just "KNEW" that was the last time I would ever see him alive. Sure enough, we got the call next morning that it was time. And we were literally 10 minutes to late. My mom kept telling me to slow down, and forced me to go 50 in a 65 all the way there because she was a wreck. we were late by 10 minutes.


We had the burial several days after. the family slept over at the grandparents condo which was new (they were the first to live there). My mom slept in his bed that night. and at some point during the night, my mom awoke me and my aunt, to show us the voice out of thin air. Just some lady's voice just talking and talking right out of thin air. clear as night and day. confirmed by the three of us. The same thing which both grandparents heard as well. All electronic devices in the room were unplugged (my grandpa was trying to confirm whether or not it was electronic some how)

I have to say I had not an ounce of sadness at the funeral too.







also independently. I have a friend, who has a friend who also heard a voice out of thin air in his closet. both of our stories were very similar. It was unmistakingly a person's voice. It was plenty loud, but sounded muffled in such way so that words were not understandable.

I have no experiences but like flagg said I believe there is a natural explanation for these phenomenon, that science has yet to explain. Too me ghosts are similar to aliens and extraterrestrial life.

Oh I was'nt directing it at any body in particular. Their is so many people that say its "bullshit" "people just imagine it". I am just telling all them, their me and two other people all heard exactly the same thing. Independently, 2 more people, my grandparents heard exactly the same thing. Indepentently, a friend of a trust friend, had a very similar story as well.

Anecdotal means:

based on personal observation, case study reports, or random investigations rather than systematic scientific evaluation: anecdotal evidence.

In other words, anecdotal experience is considered not a very strong proof in argumentation.

Having said that, like I told you, I *do* believe in creatures in the Unseen world, like angels and demons, although not ghosts. I just don't believe that anecdotal experiences can prove to people that they (angels and demons) exist.

i've had some weird experiences before, like the other night i was laying in my apartment and listening to the sounds of the night to help me get to sleep, then all of the EVERYTHING got quiet and i got a really weird feeling, like a buzzing all over my body, then i jerked really hard and it was weird, like waking up really suddenly, but i was awake to begin with

Up to 4 years ago if you would have asked me this question i would have laughed i did not believe in that sh*t, my wife ,son and I moved into a large house 5800 sqft and it was about 85 years old and alot of strange things started happening that i could not explain it freaked the fu#k out of me one nite it was just my son Brady and i at home and over a period of about 10 min doors started to slam though out the house with force windows were closed i could not come up with any logical explanation for this im not crazy or am i one of these ghost believers all i can say is that something happened that can not be explained?

I get those, usually I find if im reading in bed and then reality blurs and im not reading but asleep. I've woken up suddenly from a jerk like that..they're quite discomforting.

Not to derail the thread, but what makes me believe there is no such things as ghosts in the "spiritual sense" or souls is because of cloning. I mean, a twin is essentially a clone..so both twins get a soul each I assume? But what about actual clones? One day in the future, clones will happen in some form, if they havent already in some dark underground lab. My point is, does that clone also have a soul? If so, does that mean you can genetically recreate a new soul..that doesn't sound very spiritual to me.

I don't disbelieve in ghosts, sightings, things moving inexplicably or strange noises in an apparantly empty room. The world is a strange and amazing place and I think there some things that science has yet to discover. Prehaps "ghosts" are a manipulation of the EM spectrum, prehaps they are things that live on this earth like everything else, yet we cant quite see them.

Hmm, I read an article somewhere, and just recently, about some scientists that have tried to recreate life out of literally nothing. I can't remember what they did, but they essentially made a Protein capsule and combined certain minerals and elements to create a virus. The virus wasn't in itself "alive though" and simply being programed to follow orders, but I still think it's amazing that something like this was achieved. Damn...I need to try and find out where I read about this.
