    They're also high in sodium, so you'll probably retain more water

    I remember seeing segment on the NBC Today Show about 2 months ago on Aspartame. They showed studies how it is linked to not only cancer in adult humans, but birth defects in children along with other terminal diseases and many psychological and mood disorders of children whose mother consumed a lot of aspartame. They went into another point how many of these risks became evident during the FDA testing of the product before it was approved. And that they swept the results under the carpet, so to speak, and approved it anyway for whatever reason, knowing these risks.

    I have no opinion on it one way or the other, but just thought I would share.
