    What was before SPACE

    kinda makes you think a bit
    Alrighty, I can answer most of this, or at least provide you scenarios.

    for starters...if there are/were gods and they seeded this world with life or even had the technology to make the planet....guess what??? THEY WEREN'T OF THE PLANET...and what does that make them? EXTRATERRESTRIALS. Whether you like it or not that's the only way the 'god'(s) belief can work. So yes, you guys are worshiping aliens....probably dead aliens.

    and then IF these gods actually exist(ed) then guess what we are??? we're a science experiment....yep that's right, we're their lil toy box essentially.

    As for how everything has come to be....Big Bang....it's the most widely accepted and no one has been able to refute the theory whatsoever. The universe in which we live has a continuous cycle of expanding and then subsequent collapsing, taking place over hundreds of billions of years each time. It is the laws of physics that cause this, not some divine being. And those ARE FACTS....Irrefutable facts of science....and if you want to argue them guess what? you're retarded and think science is wrong....which is, well, retarded. As for how it got here orginally? I don't know the answer to that yet...maybe i'll discover it in my studies, but it is beyond my comprehension to think that some being did it...unless we are as in men in black just a little marble to some other beings.

    Do you honestly believe that any lifeform that can travel through space and time to visit us would be concerned with a our technology, or lack thereof. The F-22, while a brilliant plane, would pale in comparison to any alien technology.

    Aliens aren't the Taliban, fella!!!

    But back to this thread. Even atheists have faith in something. T-Mos brings up the essential question, what is the 'BEGINNING'? Science cannot come up withan explanation for that and neither can religion therefore, both beliefs are based in faith.

    A man who believes in nothing will fall for anything!!!

    thats not true. if you mean faith to be a belief in something that is not based on proof, atheists certainly do not have faith in that respect.

    No I mean the basic definition of faith, ie confidence or trust in a person or thing. Therefore what I say is true.

    OK, but you STILL did NOT answer my questions.

    Lets say you are 100% correct in all this and we are petri dish experiments, and the whole BIG BANG thing is correct to

    WHERE did the BIG BANG come FROM??? there had to be particles floating around to cause the BIG BANG right???

    so WHERE and WHAT was BEFORE that?

    Where did the aliens come from? who created them?
    what was before that?

    I just want to know what the beginning of it ALL is?

    and when you tell me the beginning of it ALL, then tell me what was BEFORE the beginning of it ALL???

    even if it was empty space, where did that emptiness come from ?

    hmmmm interesting debate

    oh and OK, here are my stats

    age= too damn old
    height= just about right
    weight= growing
    bf%= none of your got damned business

    lol awww come on.... can't anyone grasp that perspective of no matter where we came from, there had to be something BEFORE it????

    Think about it ... Even TIME itself had to start somewhere and what was BEFORE that.....

    damn i wish I was on something right now....no drinking for me, bulking cylce.....

    As per the last decade of cosmological research, the universe will not collapse. Its expansion is accelerating. According to most of the experts in this field, the universe will expand and expand until stars can no longer form as all the hydrogen has been used up and the whole place will essentially Burn Out "as the temperature everywhere asymptotically aproaches absolute Zero"
    Neil deGrasse Tyson, Director of the Hayden Planetarium in NYC. He is a leading expert in the field.

    However, they also theorize that there may be ways of escaping this fate for any beings still alive may be able to open a wormhole to a young universe and seed it with Infromation, in the quantum sense of the word. Since Einstein-Rosen bridges (the proper name for wormhole) are believed to be highly unstable, you may only be able to get objects at the molecular or atomic level to pass without destabilizing and closing it. But the important thing is that would be enough to transmit the quantum information for the next steps.

    This incomprehensibly advanced civilization could send enough information through the wormhole to create a “nanobot,” a self-replicating atomic-sized machine, It would be able to travel at near the speed of light because it would be only the size of a molecule. It would land on a barren moon, and then use the raw materials to create a chemical factory which could create millions of copies of itself.

    A horde of these robots would then travel to other moons/planets bearby and create new chemical factories. This whole process would be repeated over and over again, making millions upon millions of copies of the original robot. Eventually there would be Quintillions upon Quintillions of them, rearranging matter, perhaps just asteroids into bodies that can support life (i.e Earth)

    Next, (as The DNA sequences of the probes’ creators would have been carefully recorded) the robots would have been designed use this genetic information to then clone the species after recreating a suitable environment, enabling the entire race to be reincarnated. There may be limitations to this process that result in the inability to send enough information to recreate this master race in all its former glory, but they would survive and begin anew.

    And God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beasts of the earth after their kind: and it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the ground after its kind: and God saw that it was good.

    [I]And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness.....
    And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
    Genesis 1:24-27

    Sure its mostly the speculation of Quantum Physicists, and a little from myself, but the point is:
    RuhlFreak55, your "Extraterrestrial Gods" hypothesis is -according to the known laws of physics- fundamentally POSSIBLE

    that whole scenario you just put forth i've actually seen in more than one episode of sci-fi shows....not quite on such a small scale with such small nanite machines to begin and terraform but the basic idea is the same.

    as for the ever expanding universe thing, i'll admit my formal study of astrophysics is still in it's infancy at the moment, not sure that everyone accepts that view of Tyson though.

    lol it's prolly just like on stargate.....the gods were those alien parasites and crazy shit.....
