    Its fine to give blood while on cycle. Actually the high RBC's are a plus in the hematology world. All blood goes thorugh filters and is separated by type anyway.

    My thought was that they ask you if you have done any drugs or medications in the past x amount of months, and if you did you aren't eligible.
