You have to listen to country stations that play old and new country.

Here's a list of the country I have on my computer right now:

Older- Alabama, Alan Jackson, Blackhawk, Brooks and Dunn, Clint Black, Dwight Yoakam, Garth Brooks, George Jones, George Strait, Hank Jr, Johnny Cash, Keith Whitley, Lee Ann Womack, Merle Haggard, Randy Travis

Newer- Ashton Shepherd, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Jamey Johnson, Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Sugarland, Taylor Swift (yes, Taylor Swift), Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Tracy Lawrence

I do understand what you're saying to an extent though. I can't stand most Rascal Flatts stuff. I think what's going on is country music is made for everyone now, not just southerners; therefore, it's made so everyone can understand it.

You want to hear some good new country, try out Jamey Johnson.
