how is someone supposed to change their life for the better once they get out of jail if the government stipulates that since we are "ex-cons" we are now beneath the idea of living a decent life??

i havent been in legal trouble in a long time. i have completely changed my life. gotten away from bad ppl and things. gotten in closer touch with my family. got an okay respectable job. my life is spent on my diet. training and close friends.
