if you are worried, you can always cut the needle cap cover off about 3/4 of the way down and recap it , that way the pin will stop short of one inch

just make sure you hit the meaty part of your pec. I believe the diagram shows like one inch above the nipple and a little in toward center

your syringe should have a needle on the end of it right?

The needle should be protected by a plastic cover to shield it right?

You remove that plastic cover, and cut 3/4 of an inch off of it then you put the remaining 1/4 inch back over your needle so that only 3/4 ths of the needle is exposed

that way when you inject, it will stop where the cap is which should be about 3/4ths of an inch in.

Does that make sense to you now?

I only use pecs and glutes...pecs are my favorite spt! I thought it would go too deep and be close to my heart or somthing...but I was reasured by a member here and it went well, been using them ever sense.

In order to hit the heart, you would first have to go through your breast bone, which a one inch 25 g pin will NOT be able to do!!!
