Lebron is not over hyped.....he's just scored 40+ points in all 3 games in the series vs. the magic.

He's young, scoring 40+ points, he's going to be all over sports center.

On top of that, he made a clutch 3 pointer to win game 2 with Turk in his face.

He dishes the ball well, he gets his assist because he's a 250lb, athletic forward that has to be doubled teamed. When he is doubled, he dishes the ball out, or catches a guy cutting to the basket for an easy point.

His shot has improved so much over the past 2 seasons too, his shooting is actually impressive now for a forward his size.

Dwight Howard can't even shoot 60% from the foul line.

As far as Jordan, look who he had on his team. Scotty Pippen is a hall of fame player, when was the last time Lebron had anyone of that caliber to play with? The Bulls had a great supporting Jordan cast.

Kobe has 3 rings, he also had the best center in the league (at the time) on his team when he did. Along with the best coach to ever coach the game organizing his team. Kobe is in what....his 11th season?

Lebron is on his 6th, he's taken his team of rug rats and misfits to the finals this year. I definatly feel he has credit due. With out him on the team, they would not have made the play offs.

man where do i start first off he hasnt scored 40 in all 3 games. as i stated above he shot 28fgs last game and 24 free throws anyone can score 41 with those attempts. if he didnt get that bs call at the end where he was stuffed like a little bitch then he wouldnt have had 40 in that one either. Nba standards his age is now considered common not young. you bring up a centers free throw percentage who cant shoot. unlike lebron he realizes he cant and sticks to the post. how can u say he dishes the ball well he bricked 7 three pointers last game while his team mates were open. record a game sometime and hit the pause button when he bricks so u can see the open guys. what credit is due he gets more credit then anyone in the league and every single call. what i meant about sportscenter is last night they made it out like he had this unbelievable game but in reality he only made 2 of 16 of his jump shots and probably shot 14 free throws that he shouldnt have.

I think your getting to wrapped in one game. There is no doubt he didn't have his best game in game 3 .tell me who else is going to do it on the team. Look at game 2 when he was 20-30, I think he's over 50% from the field in the playoffs? Wht is Kobe's % in the playoffs? What does it matter if you get your points in the paint or not. 50% is 50% and 35 points is 35 points. Remember your talking about a guy 6'8 250 not 6'5 205.
Also I don't think your ever going to hear people say he's the best jump shooter in the NBA. Hes a slasher that will drive on you and good luck staying with him. Here is a guy that took a team on his back with no other real big players to the Finals last year and has a chance to do it again. And what help does he have? Unless all the people close to the NBA just don't no a thing I would have to agree with them that he is a big time player and will be for many years.

    I second that.

Before he showed up, the Cavs had not made the playoffs for many years. He led them to a conference title in 2007. He is probably the best Scorer in the NBA, and his MVP award is well-deserved.

Now I have to admit, the show he put up last night was horrible, I almost didn't finish watching the game. But I still think the Cavs have a chance to take this series and move on to the Finals. I mean, 2 years ago they won 3 games in a rown against the Pistons after being down 0-2, so that shows what this team is capable of.

So yeah, I don't think you should label him as over hyped just because he screwed up in game 3!

ok i agree he is good my point is all the nba promotions say he is the best. you just said no doubt he didnt have a great game in game 3 but yet on sportscenter they made it seem he was awesome. 35 is 35 but when u average 8 points a game off of bs foul calls that should be factored. plus when u shoot the ball 30 times a game then u should put up big numbers. even the announcers last game said that the refs even waited to see if he missed a lay up before calling the foul. did u see the 3 point foul at the end of the game. ur right so far in the play offs he has carried his team passed 2 teams with a combined record 8 games over 500. then when they finally face a real team they are getting punked. to think 50 percent is 50 percent isnt always right. otherwise a center wouldnt have the highest percentage every year.
