    oh my goodness! How much do they weigh? I couldn't imagine having much bigger dogs than I have now and mine are only 80 and 90lbs.

    The male (Levi) is going to be a late bloomer I think. He's 152# and almost 2 years old. Roxy is a year and a half ,weighed 138# a month ago, and seems to grow by the hour. It won't be much longer and both will have their hips and elbows X-rayed for their OFA rating.

    I was going to breed but my female had some skin issues, even though both of them are AKC registered I just don't want to have a bad blood line

    Yeah, I was pretty heart broken that she had the skin condition but I wouldn't jeopardize the breed, like you said far too many people do it just to make money instead of really caring about the breed.


    I have some friends that got 2 boxers, neither of them are quality breed, they ended up getting the female pregnant in her first heat and she's only about 35-40lbs, and they can't wait until she goes into heat again so they can breed and make money, it disgusts me.

    I hate it when people get into that frame of mind. Over the years I've run into soooo many people that think a heat cycle is a automatic permission slip to breed.....and speaking of dogs, here come my 2 young 'uns now. Guess it's about time for their morning run. I'm off work this week so it's kind of a treat for me to take them while it's still early in the morning.
