i'M NOT A PERSON WHO HAS Addison's disease . the methylprednisolone I was given has many uses, but it is not injected as it would with a person having a crisis with Addison's disease. I have been on this drug once every two years or year after yr, but its sole prescription has been oral and for ASTHMA treatment ONLY. and even though it has been prescribed to people with addisons disease and a depot injection or carry on pack injectable for an accute addison's crisis for immediate injection, it was not prescribed to me for that reason...only for my asthma, when it was not controlled with a simple ventolin/albuterol inhaler. This (cortisone derived steroid)drug has many uses as it is also an anti-inflamatory drug. Methylprednisolone is used to treat many different conditions such as allergic disorders, skin conditions, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, or breathing disorders.
As most doctors I have known they are not directly knowledgable with AAS, they just go with the flow and negative info on AAS advertised by the media and people hyping everyday events linking them to the use of AAS.
My concern is if and purpose for this post is just in case anyone has had experience with prednison or methylprednisolone =Generic Name: methylprednisolone (METH il pred NIS oh lone)
Brand Names: Medrol, Medrol Dosepak, MethylPREDNISolone Dose Pack while on a test cycle?
