I always assumed that "roid rage" was just a side of the steroid use. So what you're saying is it just intensifies pre-existing mental conditions? What if say, an individual has a lot of pent up anger, who would not normally explode, uses steroids. Is he more likely to release said pent up anger? Like for instance, Kim Jong Il. Would the world end in nuclear holocaust?

That is all, I don't believe in such thing as someone who has ALOT of pent up anger and has never in his lifes existence exploded and just magically does on steroids. That sounds more like a nervous breakdown
