I may have to get a different doc though. Seems closed minded. He said there was no reason to run my test levels cause I'm losing my hair (I'm 26) even though I expressed much interest. I could be wrong, but T levels don't exactly correlate with hair loss. Some people have high T but no predisposition and have all their hair. Others I know clearly have low T and are bald as an eagle. Just cause I'm going bald doesn't mean my test levels are through the roof!

Sorry to go off topic but it kinda illustrates his closed mindedness.
well if you want an OPEN discussion you have to be open to listening to them too. No Dr is going to be like ok cool. They are going to give you a little talk.

also i never heard of a Dr. checking for low T because of hair loss. Its not just him but if you have insurance there has to be certain reason for test.

    Good point.

As for the tests, my request was not due to my hairloss. I explained to him I was very lethargic, mild depression, etc. and thought maybe it's low T (I know it could be 100 other things but I was just curious). I see what your saying, there has to be a reason and hairloss doesn't justify it, by my other symptoms may. Thanks for the input.
