    Competition Cardio

    Hello guys.

I am 8 weeks out, my cardio regime at present is 30 mins on the exercise each morning when i wake up with no carbs. (Usually been doing 6 days a week - having one day off of cardio per week)

On average i am doing 20km in the 30 mins and burning around 300/350 calories.

My somatotype is an Ecomorphic Measomorph - Does this amount of cardio sound ok?

It's 100% dependent upon how lean you are and how much of a calorie deficit you are in. You seem very reluctant to post a pic which is starting to have me believe you are behind schedule.

At 8 weeks out I am usually at around 75-90 minutes of cardio a day 7x a week.

Its a bitch, so is shin splints on 6 weeks out.
At this point id use a mirror and try and keep try of your BF to make sure your not losing to much muscle mass.
I personally mark my weight when I wake up and before bed.

Really hard to say how much, if any cardio he needs without pics to assess his condition.

    My cardio is as follow,
Walking - 30min Mon, Wed & Fri in the morning and 20min after training evening
    HIIT - Tues & Thur - 10 cycles of 30sec high intensity & 60sec low intensity
    Tabata - Sunday morning & walk 30-45minutes
Trying something new and mixing it up to keep the body guessing, so far so good, i am 6 weeks out of a show.
