    Well right now UFC got some pertty good $$$ and knockout bonus, fight of the night and sub of the night which are always between 60k and 100k.

    Even if a guy fights 3-4 times a year, of course he has to win and make an name for himself he can make some pertty sick money, including merchandise and all that comes with the UFC hype.

    which most mid carders or guys who go 3 and out and then come back will never see.Its no good for one company to hold all the cards.

    Sports are one of the only businesses that monopolies are actually better for the sport. It's worked fabulously for football, baseball, and basketball. The problem with fighting (MMA and boxing) is the athletes themselves have no voice. If fighters unionized, the way other major sports have, they would/could negotiate %s. And if the orgs don't want to play fair, the fighters strike. It worked well for football and baseball and the threat of a strike worked for basketball as well.

    agreed.Union is the way to go
