    NO squats. I dont and cant do any. I have 3 herniated disk and stuff like that puts me out of commission so I avoid it. I dont need/want a 3rd surgery any time soon.

    WHAT NO SQUATS??? THAT'S SACRILEDGE!!!! LOL!!!! I understand your point though. Have you ever considered using a safety bar to squat? Puts much less stress on the lumbar region and is recommended by doctors for athletes with previous back problems. As a matter of fact, the #1 strongman in the US, Derek Poundstone, has had several back surgeries because of herniated disks, and other lumbar problems (including a couple cracked vertabrates because of an accident I believe), but he's comeback stronger and has vids of him squatting over 800 for reps. No I'm not saying you need to try the shit he does, but with proper work, it is possible to squat again. Just trying to help you out brotha, because IMO there is no better exercise than the squat!!
