Firstly I would say completely ignore all the "women are not to be trusted" comments. These likely come from a few insecure guys that have been prolly cheated on once and now blame the entire female population for it.

Prehaps you do have commitment issues. Would dating her really be a big deal? Remember, dating isn't some binding contract, you don't have to stay with her, so if you like her, she likes you, what's the problem? Unless you want to carry on sleeping around, in which case you shouldn't waste either you or this girls time.

But you sound like you're interested in dating her? Remember, you're only 21, you have everything in front of you still. What if you end up dating someone who you think is "the one" and it doesn't work out? You don't end up being together forever? Kinda putting your eggs all in one basket wouldn't you think. By dating this girl, you'll get a feel for what the experience is like, and remember it's not a binding contract. Any time you or feel like ending it, you can. At least that way you have less expectations and less heartache later on.
