Did you have a separate audio card ? Not all PC's will do that if they are using motherboard audio.

I have no idea Dsm i am computer stupid it was the only thing i could think of and luckily it worked...lol

Glad to hear it worked.
Dont forget about the restore though, it can be a life saver sometimes and it probably would have worked; the other think you could have done is look at your system properties and it would have shown your sound card was x out in red. All you would have had to do it right click on it and have it search for drivers on you HD or online. It's a fairly easy fix.

The system restore isnt working or activated, the box for it to stop working is ticked, so i couldnt do that, Do you think i should activate this system? wont it take space up on my computer memory?

I did exactly the same thing about aweek ago Marcus all i did was un plug my speakers from the back of my pc plug them back in again and it automatically re-installed the drivers
