Exactly. My daughter who is 16 now says all her guy friends are scared of me either due to my size or they know I carry a gun most of the time. LOL Either one is fine with me.

Luckily she is not boy crazy or anything yet but still to social. At about 12 dad starts to know less, they start to know EVERYTHING and I dont think that changes until around 25. lol

you know what really scares me is how smart kids already are compared to when we where kids.....i wish thay could keep there inocence longer....not possible with public schools....to many "street smart kids" sharing there so called knowledge.......thank god my child has enough self confidence and smarts to make good decisions....so far.....

I kept mine in private school until she was 13, it helped but she still learned a LOT from the streets. Same here, luckily MOST of her decisions have been good but she is still a kid so she makes some whoopers sometimes.

I remember clearly being a kid and thinking I knew a lot. She hates that and tries to say I have not idea what she is thinking. LOL Sometimes you just have to let them be kids and hope for the best.

Yeah it would be 10x better if when kids turned about 10 we could all move to a 10+ ace farm with animals and rural school until they are 20. lol
